Day 3: Camelford to Okehampton

Today was lots better than yesterday: just as hilly but shorter, simpler and more direct. Rather than say more, I thought today's post could be in photojournal style for a change...

1. Running into Phil and Fiona by chance, near Hallworthy:

2. Bovine curiosity:

3. Horse love:

4. Horse mistrust:

5. Feeling odd: flats, Launceston:

6. Lunch, Co-Op, Launceston:

7. Sad doorway, Launceston:

8. Rosie stares at Devon in disbelief:

9. Straddling the border like a colossus:

10. Roadside leg stretches:

11. Evidence of earlier cyclists:

12. Roadside yoga:

13. Finally, spare a thought for the nervous Yorkies of Okehampton:

14. Bed now...

  1. Wow you are ploughing through those counties! Rain, wind, hills, opportunities to take photos of regional novelties, none of these things stand in your way! See you soon, let me know if you want me to refill your GORP tank… I suggest replacing the raisins and peanuts and with maltesers, and revels :) x

  2. Hey up, loving the pic's... especially proud that you're managing to help out with the Fareshare's mission as you go, raiding the local co-op's of all their reduced stock... keep it up; lets see how many knocked down priced sarni's you can put away. Hope Rosie gut gets betta soon.

Great yoga moves R and great columbo skills BG, finally all that day time TV paying off.

    oh and that indian... mmmmm

Had heavy day today myself, building a decking for my pops, knackered too, but licence to eat my weight in cold meats fresh from the home land, life is good :)

Weather is looking good for next few days and even better news there should be a gradual change in wind direction to help you along. Fingers crossed for you both.

    Ride safe,
    m

    p.s. it's not all about momentum :)

  3. Sorry for shoddy tardiness in supporting your impressive effort!

Massive respect to you both! Sponsorship will be following this update of course.

Hilarious in hindsight to think you used to call Twig and Dan were hearty!

Proper little saddle monkeys aren't you!

Good to see you've got priorities sorted - comedy photos, ruby murray then cycling in that order.

    Hope all ok.

Take care and may the wind be behind you!

    Big love from Fruity!
